A Time for Transformation
Scripture informs us regarding giving thanks.
COLOSSIANS 3:15-17
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Jesus, giving thanks to God.
1 CHRONICLES 29:13 (NKJV)
“Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.”
EPHESIANS 5:18-20 (NASB)
Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of Jesus.
PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer, with thanksgiving, present your heart to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
PSALM 118:24 (ESV)
This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
