An Instrument of Thy Peace
The message of Jesus presents a fascinating paradox.
On the one hand, he, the Prince of Peace, taught us to practice love no matter what. Yet, clearly he was a threat to the authorities of his day, being adamant that our ultimate allegiance must be to God, not to the man-made rules or desires of this world.
Despite the challenges this can present, there is a process by which each of us can enjoy a life of peace no matter the circumstances around us. On this Sunday before Memorial Day, we share how you may become “An Instrument of Thy Peace.”
Please join us on Sunday, May 29th for Spiritual Life Center’s on-line service as Revs Ron & Lenore Scott share timely inspiration, “An Instrument of Thy Peace.”
Announcements
At the end of the Services, on Sundays, the Zoom audio and video will be opened up to all who would like to connect with one another. As we do, it can feel a lot like when we interact in the Lobby after a Service. Know that, for those who choose, you can merely observe and not be seen or heard. Please join the email list to receive information about the Zoom after service “Coffee Hour.”
We hope you will join us online this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Zoom will be used after the main service on Sundays, for a time to connect and have a virtual “Coffee Hour.”)
