The Secrets of Being Resilient.
Finally! The grass has turned green and the buds on the trees are popping open to reveal tiny leaves. It feels good to know those “lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer” are right around the corner.
When we know … without a doubt that what we’ve been looking for is near, it’s easier to be patient … to persevere. The thing is, there are times when it feels like we’ve been doing all the “right” things and still our dreams seem as far away as ever. What do we do when it feels like we’ve been knocked down so many times, we’re not sure we can keep getting back up? How do we keep going?
What we need is RESILIENCE … the ability to “bounce back” … to recover more quickly. This Sunday, we’ll be talking about The Secrets of Being Resilient.
Psalm 30:5 says, “…Weeping may endure for a night. But joy comes in the morning.” To bring that joy, we have to learn to be more resilient and discover how we can recover more easily and move forward after a challenging experience, disappointment, or setback. Together, we’ll open the door and bring hidden mysteries to light.

Announcements
At the end of the Services, on Sundays, the Zoom audio and video will be opened up to all who would like to connect with one another. As we do, it can feel a lot like when we interact in the Lobby after a Service. Know that, for those who choose, you can merely observe and not be seen or heard. Please join the email list to receive information about the Zoom after service “Coffee Hour.”
We hope you will join us online this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Zoom will be used after the main service on Sundays, for a time to connect and have a virtual “Coffee Hour.”)
