Freedom to Choose
Independence Day! A day to take time to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy in these United States. The FREEDOM we enjoy in this country is the reason so many people are willing to risk their very lives to come to the United States. For many, America is akin to the “promised land” spoken of in the Bible. This is a land where people are free to worship as they choose, free from an oppressive government, free from fear and want … free to create the life of their dreams!
The greatest freedom we have is our freedom of choice, and the perspective we choose to live our lives from makes a dramatic difference. One of my favorite sayings is “It’s not what happens … it’s how we respond to what happens that makes all the difference.”
I hope you’ll join us at this on Sunday as we take a closer look at our “Freedom to Choose.”
Announcements
At the end of the Services, on Sundays, the Zoom audio and video will be opened up to all who would like to connect with one another. As we do, it can feel a lot like when we interact in the Lobby after a Service. Know that, for those who choose, you can merely observe and not be seen or heard. Please join the email list to receive information about the Zoom after service “Coffee Hour.”
We hope you will join us online this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Zoom will be used after the main service on Sundays, for a time to connect and have a virtual “Coffee Hour.”)
