Surrender: Alignment with God
There are various ways to practice surrender, including using affirmations like “I’m willing to learn” or “Guide my choices,” pausing to be present, and asking for guidance. Surrender involves trusting in divine will and blessing the unknown, even when it’s difficult.
Surrender is not giving up: It is giving back—returning control to the Infinite Presence that already and eternally holds us.
Jesus as Model of Surrender, In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed, “Not my will, but Thine be done.” — Luke 22:42
Unity’s 5th Principle teaches:
Knowing and understanding the laws of life are not enough.
We must live the truth we know.
Surrender is how we live Truth. It’s how we practice faith.
Surrender is not just affirming peace—it’s choosing to rest in it, even when we can’t see what’s next.
Join us this Sunday with Rev Martha Creek to reinforce these clear insights we can practice each day tfor graceful results.
