Joy AND Mind

A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.Joy and Mind are not words that you would normally put together. We can cultivate joy in numerous practical ways.We have more joyful experiences when we stop:- needing/demanding to be right
- comparing our self and circumstances to others
- analyzing, interrupting, and meaning-making what happens
- indulging delusions of control, being in charge, and pushing our opinions
We have a more joyful heart when we find:
- creative ways to be with challenging situations
- contentment with whatever is being offered
- intelligence and intuition are trustworthy leaders
- grace and providence in all situations

At the end of the Services, on Sundays, the Zoom audio and video will be opened up to all who would like to connect with one another. As we do, it can feel a lot like when we interact in the Lobby after a Service. Know that, for those who choose, you can merely observe and not be seen or heard. Please join the email list to receive information about the Zoom after service “Coffee Hour.”
We hope you will join us online this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Zoom will be used after the main service on Sundays, for a time to connect and have a virtual “Coffee Hour.”)
